About the Author...
My name is Megan (but I've always really been a Meg) and I have just finished my A-level exams in the UK and have big aspirations to go onto university in a few months time to study English Literature. I chose to start a blog a few months ago however I had never really got round to starting but lately, probably due to exam stress, I had an epiphany. I realised I wasn't as happy as I thought I had been and I needed to have a bit of a lifestyle haul and university seemed the greatest place to do that, and this blog, is apart of it.
In life, I am definitely more of a thinker than a doer (not to say I don't do anything, I do but I have to think about it a lot first). My friends tend to brand me as an over thinker but I believe that there is nothing wrong with being analytical of everything as if we weren't nothing would ever change.
I am a avid musician and have played the clarinet for seven years. I also dabble in a bit of saxophone and piano but I definitely wouldn't say I could play them! My favourite past time though is definitely helping out with my local Brownie groups both in Canterbury and at home. I, myself have been a member of girl guiding for over 10 years and have loved every second of it! It has given me countless opportunities including the chance to go to Ghana to help build an orphanage (the unflattering photo at the top is my selfie next to brick wall I built which is probably one of the proudest moments of my life!).
If I was to list my top three guilty pleasures they would be, Merlin the BBC TV show, Buzzfeed videos and wearing odd socks (don't judge it is oddly satisfying). My favourite colour is orange and my favourite band is probably Boy. I have a dog, sister and boyfriend (I like to write things in order of importance =P).
Overall, I feel like I am a creative and rather outgoing individual with an avid mind and I hope that you reap as much joy out of this blog as I do.
